🚒 East Fishkill Fire District Annual Open House – October 4th

On Sunday, October 4th, the East Fishkill Fire District held its annual Open House, an event dedicated to giving the public an opportunity to see firsthand what we do, how we serve our community, and the many ways we help keep our residents safe.

We had several of our apparatus on display, including our ladder truck, proudly displaying the American flag for the occasion, our rescue truck used for vehicle extrication, Fire Investigation truck, ambulance, and Fire Police truck.

We were also pleased to welcome the New York State Forest Rangers, who shared information about their responsibilities and how they operate, as well as members of the East Fishkill Police Department, who conducted child car seat safety checks. ADA Chelsea Paglia was also present, representing the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office.

The photos from this event capture more than just our equipment and activities. They represent the dedication, training, and commitment of the men and women who serve our community. Our members devote countless hours to training and preparing for the many different situations they may face. We are proud to have members of all ages, including those who have dedicated more than 30, 40, and even 50 years of service to our community.

There is a place for just about everyone in the fire service! Whether you are interested in emergency response, supporting operations, or helping in other ways, there are opportunities to get involved and make a difference.

We encourage you to take the first step, learn more about what we do, and consider joining us. Your community needs you, and we would welcome the opportunity to have you become part of our team.
